Compost for Classrooms

Our basic course will instruct your teachers and students how to make 30 gallons of potting mix. (contains 12lbs of shredded cardboard and 72lbs of coffee). Just add a little dirt for a super fun classroom project. We will provide access to detailed videos for your class. 

We will coordinate your class with a volunteer or you can become one yourself and complete the composting process for your class or school. 

Want to provide compost at a school or community center level? Our program will mate your organization with a constant flow of compost material. There is a elevated volunteer need on the ground for these size projects. 

The Sweet and Spicy program will allow your student to grow stevia, chocolate mint, and arugula. It is a perfect way to educate everyone that sweet can be clean and sugar free. It can also show how homegrown arugula can add heat to any dish they choose!

The Pizza Party program will grow tomatoes, basil, green peppers, and onions. Classroom or School pizza contest is a great way to engage your students. You could even team up with a local pizzeria to assist in the community experience. Let us help get your local businesses involved. 

Maybe someone thinks there are other ways to brighten someones days other than pizza and sweet treats! The sunflower program is a great way to leave the school year with a little color. Let the entire school and every passer by enjoy the gifts of Sunflowers.
